Analogue Chic

An exploration of craft, art, fashion, costume, home style, and design elements.  A digital idea book of colors, patterns, styles, lines, materials, and ideas that catch my interest.  Reflections on the history of clothing, crafts, and aesthetics, and how that integrates with women’s history and cultural anthropology.  And a portfolio of my own works in progress and finished pieces: craft, fashion, styling, experimentation.

My emphasis is on recycling and repurposing, as well as utilizing sustainable new materials and techniques– organic, 100% post-consumer, and Fair Trade.

In a digital world, I’m still in love with ink on paper, hand stitching, and the beauty of imperfection.  Hence, Analogue Chic.
