…help me…

I think the mustaches are stalking me.

I’ve solved the mustache mystery, here.  But I swear they just won’t leave me alone!

Look at how many curly, frothy, staches of many colors popped up in the last post!

And now this (thanks a lot,  Twigs & Tweed).

Why? WHY?!  What have I done?  I have nothing but love for the whiskers, but seriously, I have other style icons to assess, people…

That’s it.  I will not mention mustaches again here.  Ever.  You have my word. Finis.  I’m closing that chapter on facial hair.

I think I need an intervention…

Mustache Mystery Solved!

I’ve been following the mustache trail for a couple of months now, pondering as to the whys and wherefors of the mustache crop taking over the handmade crafts community.  Today I stumbled across this subliminal message:

It seems that mustache-clad robots have been observing the activities on our little planet, and decided that we could all do with a lot more ’stache.

But don’t worry, they’re very friendly and industrious, and I’m sure they have lots of other good advice to dispense.

You heard it here first, folks!

Mustachioes Update

Some more ’stache-themed goodies I’ve seen recently:

This fabulous onesie, incidentally made by one of the ladies in my craft group.  Shop here.  Because babies need disguises too?

And this awesome fabric– would be great for a lining.

What is it about the ’stache?!

Moustachioed

Because you never know when you’ll need a disguise.

I’m not sure what sparked this little cultural phenom, or if anyone else has noticed, but it was brought to my attention by my (apparently) trendsetting sister.  Mustache as fashion accessory and home decor. Lookie:

Nylon also featured staches from Ach Ach Liebling, Tatty Devine, and Recklace Joy
