- No Pants Summary: How to do it yourself
This was a real New England Weird Weather Week…
Activities: working from home
Weather: overcast, humid, warm. It was around 80 in my 3rd floor bedroom…
: black stretch cotton dress – Gap, thrifted during the past month
: coral canvas open-toe flats – H&M, new, right now
Activities: working from home, running errands
Weather: sunny, partly cloudy, very humid (hence the hair situation)
Note: This outfit is not to imply that I am at all affiliated with Danbury High. I'm not from here, I don't do school spirit.
: royal blue 3/4 sleeve cardigan – a wonderful little discount store, several years ago
: orange and white rose print camisole – home made from my mom's vintage pattern
: blue & white gingham skirt – vintage, from a shop in Philadelphia, transformed by me this week from a wrap skirt (it's too small to wrap now) into an A-line skirt with back zipper.
: white eyelet Keds – from a Gilt Groupe (I think) sale last summer
This is a dramatization – I completely forgot to take pictures, so I recreated the outfit this morning (Day 29).
Activities: shopping for refreshments, staffing a seminar for work
Weather: partly-partly, raining on and off all day – my hair was not at all in this condition, more like Day 27.
Note: this is not at all what I wore during the day, which was a jersey skirt (see Day 24) and a tee shirt – it was really humid in my place.
: white and navy striped blazer – H&M, earlier this spring
: blue & tan ikat print halter dress – homemade, upcycled from a thrifted skirt
: black leggings
: black Dansko sandals – several years old, similar styles probably still available. They're good like that.
Stepford Wife drag for going to the grocery store at 8 a.m., unshowered (hence the hair).
Activities: errands, working from home
Weather: glorious, spring perfection, bright sun, blue sky, warm… ahh…
: pink leopard print scarf worn as headband – thrifted
: pink argyle cardigan – Liz Claiborne, thrifted
: mother of pearl bangle – Target, a few years ago
: pink floral print dress – thrifted many years ago
: disco flavor T-strap heels – from Spring, bought for my wedding 2 years ago
Elizabeth Arden would approve.
